Space and Body dialogues

To experience the atmospheres of the Brandenburg Gate, the participants position themselves at the same site, assuming the same bodily postures as the spectators of the first parade following Hitler’s rise to power in 1933. The local and physical feedback of the atmospheres on the performers leads to key moments for the immediate experience of Hitler’s rise to power—capturing the moods of the people of that time. In the form of cardboard figures, the performers face and interview themselves.
